Alfa Romeo has been busy making big announcements, with the all-new, electrified Alfa Romeo Tonale crossover SUV being the brand’s biggest announcement in quite some time. But the list of announcements doesn’t end just there. The Italian automaker plans to expand its portfolio further in the next five years with an all-electric SUV positioned above the Stelvio. And while SUVs seem to be the top priority, sedan fans will be glad to hear that the fabled Giulia sedan won’t be left behind. The future of the Guilia sedan will be all-electric.  Get Ready for an All-Electric Giulia 

According to a report in the Automotive News Europe, Alfa Romeo CEO Jean-Philippe Imparato has confirmed that there will be a next-generation of the Giulia sedan and that it “will be an electric-only model.” 

This doesn’t come as a surprise since most automobile brands, including Stellantis, which owns Alfa Romeo, plan to go all-electric by 2030. In fact, Alfa Romeo had previously announced that it would become an EV-only brand by 2027, so it’s only a matter of time before all internal combustion engines get discontinued.

Facelifted 2023 Alfa Romeo Giulia Coming Soon  

But before the all-electric next generation of Giulia makes its way to the showrooms, there could be a facelifted model on its way, and it should be hitting the market sometime in 2023. So, there’s still something for gasoline purists before the final goodbye.
