How does the Alfa Romeo Adaptive Cruise Control System work? Alfa Romeo’s Cruise Control raises the bar on cruise control by making it safe and straightforward. It monitors the road and maintains a safe gap between you and the car ahead of you. The distance is controlled by a radar sensor positioned behind the front bumper, and a camera mounted in the top center area of the windshield. Activating adaptive cruise control is simple. On the left side of the steering wheel, press the ON/OFF button. Press the set button after accelerating to the desired speed. Cruise control will be activated as a result of this action. Once you’re behind a car, press the Set Distance switch to the right of the Set Switch. The mechanism will keep a safe distance between you and the other person.
In the event of traffic congestion, just press the brake to disengage the adaptive cruise control. All you have to do to resume cruising is accelerate to a speed close to your target pace and push the RES button.
