Powertrain Specs & Performance Numbers

Powered by a 2.0L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine, the Alfa Romeo Giulia is capable of generating 280 horsepower – which is the best standard horsepower in the midsize sedan class. The powertrain is also able to generate 306 pound-feet of torque, hit a top speed of 149 miles per hour and get from a complete stop up to 60 miles per hour in just 5.1 seconds. Further enhancing the Giulia’s performance is its near-perfect 50/50 weight distribution, courtesy of its carbon fiber driveshaft.

Furthermore, whether you have the standard rear-wheel drive system, or you opt for the available Q4 all-wheel drive system, you can rest assured that your Giulia will deliver dependable and impressive traction in almost any road condition. Performance can be even further enhanced by opting for the class-exclusive paddle shifters, made from aluminum and mounted right onto your steering column.

What about the Giulia Quadrifoglio?

Things get ramped up, as you might expect, if you opt instead for the Quadrifoglio model. Replacing the standard engine with a 2.9L twin-turbocharged V6 engine capable of generating 505 horsepower alongside 443 pound-feet of torque. That changes the other numbers as well, increasing top speed to 191 mph and shortening the time in which the vehicle can go from 0-60 to just 3.8 seconds.
